WALT: Identify the use of commas 

Today we're looking at the use of commas. 

Start by reading this PowerPoint which tells you all you need to know about commas (the numbers don't go in order because I cut a couple of pages out that you don't need to worry about today) 

Then use page 7 of these resources. You need to say why the commas have been used in each sentence.

WALT: sort and Classify animals 

Today we are going to be thinking about how scientists classify animals into different groups. 

Begin by having a look at this PowerPoint 

Your task today is to sort groups of animals like a scientist might. 

Here are the animals that you need to sort. 

Here is an example of how to complete the work. Notice that you always start with a question: 

For example: Land or Not Land 

Then from all the land animals you might say: 4 legs or Not 4 legs. This way you gradually make the groups smaller and smaller until you have just 1 animal. 

PE 

Like Monday, PE is difficult to do at home so try another Joe Wicks workout to get you moving and your heart rate up!
