Fear Machine - Read chapters 8 and 9 - collect evidence about Miss Fortune and here relationship with Dani. 

Time Trip - Read chapters 7 and 8. While you read, make notes about the character of Aarek.

English Task 

Today you are going to begin planning a new chapter for a Harry Potter story. It is going to be a pensieve memory flashback. 

As you may know from the story, Voldemort kills Harry's parents when he was a baby. However, Harry doesn't really know much about how it happened. 

After the downfall of Voldemort at the end of the series, we can imagine that some of Voldemort's memories have been collected. Harry is so curious to see his parents, he decides to go into Voldemort's memory and find out.

Your task today is to plan the chapter. First, watch this video which shows a flashback from one of the films. 

Next read these good examples to give you some ideas for your own. 

Then use this planning sheet (copy the headings into your book) to help you to plan your own chapter ready for writing your chapter tomorrow.

You are going to be putting your work on using formula to use today! 

Begin by looking at this PowerPpint

Remember, all formula need to start with =SUM

Read these instructions about Hockey leagues 

Then use this spreadsheet to complete the results for the league, including the goals for, against and the goal difference. Read the instructions really carefully! 

Finally, see if you can create a graph and complete the challenges at the end. Go back to the PowerPoint if you need to.
