Morning all. I hope had a restful weekend. Here are your tasks for the day!
Reading
Time trip - Read chapters 5 and 6. While you are reading, note down all the things that prove that Cat has travelled to the future.
On page 33, Cat says in her letter that knowing too much about the future could change the course of history. Why do you think it might be dangerous? Write down why you think it might be dangerous to know too much about the future.
Fear Machine - Read chapters 6 and 7.
While you are reading, I would like you to make notes on Miss Fortune. Find evidence about her character. What is she like? What words and phrases are used to describe her? What things does she say and what does that suggest about her? Then write a summary of the story so far.

Geography
Today you are going to be thinking about rivers of the world. Have a look at this PowerPoint which explains about tributaries. Tributaries contribute to the flow of rivers when they join.
Use this sheet and research the rivers of the world. Look for the source, the mouth, the length of the river and any tributaries it has. Use the internet to help your search.
WALT: Research rivers of the world and their tributaries
CPSHE
Facebook Friends
Today we are going to be thinking about social media.
Have a look at the fake Facebook post here
This is a post by Natalie. Looking at the picture, what might we work out about her? Her life? Her friends? What does this snapshot tell us about her?
Now look the extract from her diary underneath the picture.
Think about the following questions:
- Does what Natalie put on Fakebook match her private diary entry?
- What was the party like for her?
- What can we learn about her from the private diary entry?
- Which do you think is true – the Fakebook post or the private diary entry?
- Why didn't she tell the truth about the party on her Fakebook page?
- Do other people apart from Natalie do this?
