Tuesday 2nd February

 Morning everyone!

Here are your tasks for the day:

Wellbeing Week

Express yourself!

Choose an afternoon lesson (computing or French) that you could maybe do another time. Use this time to express yourself in some way. Make something that you enjoy and express yourself! It could be:

Making music

Drawing/painting

Making something crafty

Sing/dance

Creating a game on Kodu or other computer software

Anything! Be imaginative and send in a picture/video of what you do.

Reading:

Login to Reading Plus and complete 2 more of the reading challenges. This should take you 30 minutes and you should be building up your combos! Remember, I can see how you're getting on so do your best!

Spelling

Play spelling shed for 15 minutes.

English Task.

Having read through and identified features of a formal report, today we are going to begin planning our own report. You can do this on anything that you find interesting. We will discuss ideas during the Zoom meeting. But some you might think about are:

Homework should be banned.

Arsenal are having a good season.

Cats make the best pets.

To help you to plan your report, I would like for you to think about bubble planning.

Here is an example for one of the topics above:

My bubble planner

Write the title of your report in the middle of the page. Around it draw 3 large bubbles. Write the topic of your paragraphs at the top of each bubble. Underneath, write what the introductory sentence might be. Then write your notes about that topic in the bubble to help you with your writing. You can use the internet to research anything that you might find useful.
