WALT: Write a character description
From your reading of chapters 1 and 2 of War Horse, I would like for you to choose a character and write a description of them.
There are lots of things that you need to think of when writing a character description such as: what you can see, hear, smell and touch; powerful adjectives and phrases; and adverbs and adverbials to help you to describe something with a lot of detail.
Here is an example of one written by someone in Year 6 two years ago.
Now have a go at writing your own!
Here are some questions to help you to plan your description:
Who are you describing?
Who is looking at your character?
Where are they?
Powerful adjectives and phrases
