Art Time!

Good Morning everyone!

I've had some great pictures in from some of you with your incredible and creative art work. I really like how you've all done something a little different this week which is what art is all about!

First up is Chelsea who has taken up a new hobby - photography! She has chosen to send in some amazing pictures here that have lots of different techniques in them. From use of light and shadow to close ups of plant life which include dew drops on grass, I'm sure you'll all agree with me that Chelsea has taken some truly fantastic photos here and I hope you continue developing your new skills! Great job, Chelsea! 👀👊👏💪

Next we have Elodie's Banksy work. Elodie, did you create this using the stencil technique? However you've made it, it looks great! To me, the message here is, "wishing for a summer holiday get away". Very powerful when that might not be something we can do this year. If I'm wrong, Elodie, I'd love to know why you chose the shapes and images that you did. Super work!!
Here's Freddie's Banksy work. Again, I've got to say I'm hugely impressed with this piece! Look at the detail Freddie has managed to achieve on the gun. I love that you have managed to include white spaces in your stencil to help to give the impression of detail. Quality job, Freddie! Keep up the superb art!

Now we have William who is pictured here in the first photo creating art...you might be wondering: where are his paints? Has he made a stencil? Why is he in the park? Does he even have a pencil? Well, the answer is in his second picture! William has been making Strava art! For those of you who don't know what Strava art is (and I had to look it up 🙈), it is art created using exercise tracking apps. You can see on the map below that William planned his daily exercise to create a little character on his map! This is so cool, William! I bet it took a bit of planning and thought before you made this. I'm astounded by your art - well done!!

Not satisfied with creating some Strava art, William has also made this brilliant stencil. He's holding that spray paint can very menacingly...I'd love to see what it looked like when you had a go, William!
