Also, it's Tuesday.......is choir on? 😏😂😶

Wednesday 25th
Hi Class 6!
Here are your tasks for today:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1MjwxV6vC5SFWaMruvWZlZYz2O7oz9k-e
There is so much that you know about fractions so I want to see loads of really creative explanations about them!
Post some of your brilliant explanations to the blog as a comment and I will publish them!
Also, for any of you who finish and would like a further challenge linked to your writing, I would like you to go to this website:

Here you can read about a girl who wrote a diary of her experiences during WW2. Her name was Anne Frank. Like you, she had to spend some time shut away from the rest of the world.
Answer the following questions in your Home Learning Book:
Why did Anne Frank have to leave Germany?
What sorts of things was she not allowed to do?
How long was she in isolation for?
Why was she given a book?
What were some of her hobbies?
What are the similarities and differences between Anne and you as you experience having to stay at home for a while?
(Note to parents - the above work on Anne Frank to be completed today at your discretion)
Have a great day today.

Dear Children,
It has come to my attention that some of you may be
completing your work too quickly. This suggests to me that you’re not putting the
correct amount of work and effort into these tasks.
Reading a chapter of your book and completing task = 1 hour
Maths = 40 minutes
Spelling = 15 minutes
Writing = Minimum 1 hour
Topic work = minimum 1 hour (for example a report based on
research of an animal should be at least 30 minutes research and then at least
30 minutes writing). This is designed to be an open ended task so that you can
be as creative as you can be with it.
This equates to around to nearly 4 hours work to be spread
over 2 days.
I expect the quality of your work to be the same as it is in
school.
Note to parents: Please understand that all circumstances at
home are different. Mr Staley will be writing out later this afternoon with
further information.

It's all about animal adaptations! 🐫🐱🐳
I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with for your reports! If you can think of an animal you would like to do more than the animals I've mentioned, then please do! I chose those ones because there's lots of easy-to-find information about them.
Have a great day 👌
